Trump Signs the GOP Loyalty Pledge
The matter of Donald Trump’s written pledge of loyalty to the Republican Party appears to settle his party status for the time being, writes The Washington Post political reporter Robert Costa. The Donald says he is no longer a GOP renegade and he rules out a third- party or independent run.
Vowed the Donald at an event at Trump Tower in New York City, “I will be pledging my total allegiance to the Republican Party and the conservative principles for which it stands.”
Trump was surrounded by backers holding “TRUMP” posters next to the skyscraper’s steep elevators.
“The bustling scene, attended by a crowd of reporters and television cameras, was more political theater than the marking of a formal pact, as Trump is under no legal obligation to abide by the political document.
“But the promise, which he long avoided making, does bring him closer to a party whose rank and file activists he has thrilled this summer and whose leadership has at times viewed his rapid ascent with alarm—especially the prospect of an outside bid that could siphon away votes from the eventual Republican standard-bearer.”
“...Trump said he sees “no circumstances under which I would tear up that pledge….I have no intention of changing my mind.”
Jeb Bush
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said on the “Good Morning America” television program that in order for The Donald to emerge triumphant at next year’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, he ought to lessen his use of divisive language. Jeb should talk. He trails in all the polls buried in the single digits.

Hillary Clinton likes to be in control. But now the FBI ‘A’ Team is in control of Hillary’s personal server and Email.
”Nearly a third of the classified messages released so far from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’ s Emails came from one man: Jake Sullivan, who served as her deputy chief of staff in the department, and is now the top foreign policy adviser to her presidential campaign.

Mills, a longtime top Clinton Aid who was chief of staff at the department, ranked second, and Huma Abedin, Mrs. Clinton’s close personal assistant was also a deputy chief of staff, ranked third, with 27 Emails sent by her that contain information marked “confidential” by the government, according to a Washington Times analysis.
Mrs. Clinton herself accounts another 27 of the 186 marked messages that have been released so, accounting for 2.3 percent of the 7,945 total that have been divulged as of Aug. 31. More than 20,000 messages are still to be released.
And Then There is Libya and Benghazi
Jake Sullivan has been called to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. If Hillary is elected president, Sullivan is the odds-on favorite to be her National Security Advisor. He is a principal committee witness. (William C. Tiplett II, Washington Times)
Will the House Select Committee grant Sullivan immunity to testify? Watch and wait.
